 MP ink on a 1280
Solution Our recommended archival ink for the 1280 is MISPRO or "MP". It does require that you use a profile to achieve higher quality results. It should be noted that the use of pigment inks in a dyebase printer may not always meet the desires of the end user. Dye inks are typically more vibrant and crisp. Although newer pigments such as our MP inks bridge this gap. This is most evident when using pigment inks in dye prints.

Pigment printers on the other hand can achieve great results since the firmware and drivers are intended to perform with pigment inks. The issue is very subjective though.

We do provide a profile for this ink and printer compbination on Epson paper, it may be enough to get you very close on teh GLoss and Pearl papers you use.

1280 cartridges, select your printer and look for the part numbers starting with "MP", you'll also want photo black ink for glossy prints....
